Let me firstly begin with our sincere apologies.

We understand that, regrettably, the uPlay Tablet Support Forum has not been as closely monitored as we would have liked it to have been over recent times.

This has resulted in very understandable frustration, and unanswered questions. Please note that this was never our intention, and we offer our apologies to all of you who have not had your questions answered in a timely manner.

However, we truly are committed to improving our customer satisfaction, and would like to announce that as of February 2013, the forum will be closely monitored.

We really do appreciate your custom, and are sorry to all who have not received responses in a timely manner to questions you have posted.

Please bare with us over the next couple of days, so that we can ensure EVERY post gets a full answer. But we can assure you that we will be closely monitoring the forum on a regular basis now, and once again thank you for your continued patience and, of course, your custom.

A belated Happy New Year, and best wishes for 2013 to you all!

I'm just going to follow this up with my colleague who has more experience with this model, we'll provide a response as soon as possible.

In the meantime I would suggest trying to close as many background apps as possible (it doesn't take long for them to build up, and many times you aren't even aware they are draining your battery). In addition, let the battery drain completely, then charge fully (do not use the unit during the charge) and test out the battery for a day or two and see if it improves.

I've also never heard of this screen flickering issue, perhaps you could provide a bit more info on when this happens or the conditions upon which it "flickers"?

At the beginning, it seemed to me that it taking place when i connected and then (after charging) disconnected the charger.
Now, it is all the time. Currently it shows up as a white band all over the screen where I do not have any control on the screen and rarely see a little glimpse of the actual screen ...for a milli second or two ...sometimes a little bit more.
I am devastated with this.

And...currently this "flickering" and white band is ALL THE time. I have completely lost control of the screen.
