Preparation before firmware upgrade:

Make sure your tablet has at least 40% battery power left.
You need to prepare one 1G or 2G micro-SD card, since the firmware has to be saved into micr0-SD card to run upgrade.
Once you download the firmware tar file, unzip it, and copy the uncompressed file onto the micro-SD card.

I just received my Ainol NOVO 7 Aurora II yesterday and would like to know if the firm upgrade has been factory installed or do I have to upgrade to 0625 version? Is there any way to check if it's been upgraded already?

Hi Folks, I managed to flash the latest firmware (20120625) and all is well. There were a couple of error messages at the bottom left (in yellow font) that stated that it can't find a file in the ../sdcard/.. folder or something. But, it still did the upgrade well. Playing around with various features ... hopefully, all should be fine

How can I find out the Ice Cream version I have? In the settings it only telles me I have v4.0.3, but no revision number.
