How to fix – Ainol NOVO Captain cannot be turned on (cannot boot)

If you cannot turn on Ainol NOVO 10 Captain, you can try the following:

  1. Plug it with charger for 5 mins.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for 20~30 seconds, then release
  3. Press the power button for 1~2 seconds, then wait. You should see a battery charging icon displayed. Wait until it’s gone.
  4. Press the power button for 10~15 seconds, then release. You should see Captain boots up.

If it doesn’t, then repeat 2~4. Sometime it takes a few tries to make it work. The key is to see the charging icon displayed, then you should be able to turn it on while it’s plugged.
