Ainol is short of IPS screen to make Aurora

Ainol NOVO 7 Aurora becomes really hot after it won the 2nd place of the “Best Tablet Reward” and also because it is the first Android 4 .0 7″ tablet using IPS screen under $200. Recently all online stores are running out stock of Ainol NOVO 7 Aurora. As Ainol’s oversea distributor , we uPlay Tablet are in contact with Ainol’s GM of International Business Department, Chevy Wu, almost everyday. According to Wu, Ainol couldn’t make Aurora because they don’t get IPS screen from their supplier. They are working with their IPS screen supplier trying to solve the issue. Based on his estimate a week ago, the IPS supply should resume back to normal by end of February. However, the situation doesn’t improve much up to today (Feb. 28).

To promote Ainol on oversea market, Wu agrees to give high priority to uPlay Tablet – He is trying to get uPlay Tablet 30 Aurora today and more in the following days. Considering the tight stock situation won’t improve any time soon, we recommend our customers not to place Aurora order if you need it right away. However, if you do want your Aurora, you better place the order now, since that will put your order early in the queue.

Update on March 4:  We talked to Chevy today. There is no improvement on the IPS supply. However, he has got 30 Aurora and 10 ELF for us. He will get us more in the near future.
