There are two major improvements on this new generation: the OS is upgraded from Android 2.3 to the latest 4.0 ICS. The CPU is upgraded from Mediatek MTK 6573 to the latest ARM Cortex -A9 based MTK 6575 1.2 GHz. The highlight of this customized phablet is its unique 5″ form factor as a phone and tablet , and rich features as a all-in-one device: 3G quad-band unlocked world phone , WCDMA and GSM dual mode and dual SIM card, dual-camera including 5MP back-facing camera, GPS, and bluetooth .

Quite a few of my friends bought Samsung Galaxy Note recently. They all like Galaxy Note because of the huge 5″ screen. it works as a phone, tablet, and pocket GPS. I want to buy one as well, but I don’t want to spend that much money. So, I searched on Internet and I found this PhonePad from uPlay. After reviewing feedbacks from their eBay store, I decided to give it a try – I thought, in the worst case, I would just return it and get my refund.
The PhonePad arrived last week. I am quite impressed with its quality – it doesn’t look like a cheap product. After playing it for a couple days, I start like it more and more. The screen is huge comparing to iPhone, but can still easily slide into my jean’s pocket. I love playing Angry Bird on this big screen. The GPS and bluetooth works really well, too.
